The week after Halloween is very interesting! The students were really tired on Monday and their system was in overload with sugar! We made it through the week though. I'm glad Halloween doesn't come once a week.
*Spelling - Amazing! Wow! Awesome! I am so impressed with how well everyone is doing! I love it!
*Empathy - We all traced our foot and wrote a statement about empathy on it. Come look at all the footprints around the school.
*Lost and Found - If you are missing a coat or hoodie, come take a look at our Lost and Found in the Grade 5 & 6 hallway.
*Reading - Thanks for trying to read consistently for 15 minutes every night.
*Student-Led Conference - Wednesday, November 17. Please return slip to let me know if your scheduled time works for you. This is going to be a fun evening with your child.
*Weather - Weather will be changing this week. Be ready with mitts, hat, scarf etc. Wear boots when it snows!
*Remember to practice phone number, box number, and how to print last name.
*Remembrance Day Program - Wednesday, November 10 @ 10:45 a.m. Wear red!
We are singing When Johnny Comes Marching Home and The Poppy Song.
*Clocks - Remember to set your clocks back 1 hour on Saturday night!!
Enjoy your 4 day weekend with your "Crew"!
